Platinum FormConverter
With Platinum Form Converter customers can convert their SAPscript forms quickly and almost automatically in the Adobe standard form, and then further refine them in Adobe LiveCycle Designer. The process will preserve the architecture of the original form logic obtained while also allowing for deviations from the standard system, therefore ensuring the investment protection for the customer. So far, the conversion of SAPscript forms in Adobe was possible only with increased manual programming effort. We provide now the best solution for all SAP customers. SAP AG itself announced recently that the SAPscript form printing standard will no longer be supported and a switch to Adobe was performed. Platinum has therefore developed the SAP-based solution, since no automatic conversion solution was available on the market.
As technical requirements, the Platinum Form Converter requires SAP ERP 6.0. The use of the converted forms also require a SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 with Acrobat Reader. The conversion process takes four steps, in which the SAPscript forms are analyzed, evaluated, their interfaces are standardized, and finally adjusted, tested and refined if necessary. The result is a fully functional Adobe PDF form available to the customer, which can accumulate data with interactive elements. This solution is offered by Platinum as a service to enable SAP customers to focus on their core projects, allowing them to operate form changes in a fast and inexpensive manner.
